What you’ll be doing

As a full-time High-end Residential Project Manager with Kanstrukt Group, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your career with a team focused on unlocking your full potential. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing high-end residential construction projects from preconstruction through closeout and assisting with planning and analysis of preconstruction activities and conceptual design issues. Here's what you can expect:

  • Oversee all aspects of projects from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.

  • Build a high-level of trust with the client, and maintain that confidence through proactive and transparent communication, managing to customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, contractors, and vendors aimed at solving potential constructability, system conflicts, sequencing, and/or quality control concerns.

  • Research, bid and estimate high end custom home projects

  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Order and manage materials and equipment

  • Oversee and supervise construction project progress against established schedules, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions.

  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with building specifications and industry standards.

  • Responsible for the documentation and communication of various matters to management, including but not limited to: jobsite accidents, incidents of theft, concerns regarding design, instances of construction delays, and personnel issues

  • Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill opportunities



Job Requirements

  • An experienced construction professional with 8+ years of High-End Residential and/or Project Management experience or training

  • Able to show repeat customer successes and an ability to manage projects on time and on budget.

  • Able to submit a list of subcontractors you have been working with for 3+ years.

  • A graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or Business Management field (preferred)

  • Committed to fostering positive customer experiences, where every interaction with a customer is viewed as an opportunity to create value and leave a positive impression

  • A natural leader with a strong ability to communicate effectively and resolve conflicts both verbal and written.

  • An organizer with first-rate time management skills; ability to prioritize, multi-task, with excellent attention to detail and follow through to ensure successful projects every time.

  • Fascinated by technology and comfortable using it to organize, communicate, and scale. Experience with construction project management software and Gen AI tools is a plus.

  • Knowledgeable about general construction safety and business practices

  • Eager to learn, inspired, looking to grow within the company.

  • Able to commute to our hub locations in Westfield & Clark, NJ and the surrounding area to meet with clients and visit job sites

  • Able to traverse and inspect all areas of a jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.

  • Able to sit/drive or stand for prolonged periods of time.

  • Able to lift thirty pounds at times.

  • Carrying a valid Driver's License & able to provide a drivers abstract
